Nordfärg is a pioneer in the environmentally friendly paint market. The creation and development of a paint range that is not only of the highest quality but has also fulfilled the rigourous demands of environmental accreditation is a testament to the dedication of the team behind its creation.
The product is manufactured using Sweden’s renewable power and Iceland’s geothermal heat. These production methods are core to the ethos of the brand and this was our starting point when creating the visual identity. We wanted to give a sense of purity to the brand that would communicate Nordfärg’s environmental standing but also reinforce the Scandinavian genesis of the product.
The result is a clean and minimalist look giving clear distinction within the retail environment. The large, overlapping circular swatches on the paint card were designed to showcase the 36 colours in a unique and refreshing way which perfectly illustrates the harmonious nature of the colours.
Over the course of the 18 month project we created packaging, environmental graphics and an e-commerce website.
