The Institute for Cancer Vaccines and Immunotherapy (ICVI) exclusively funds research into cancer immunotherapy and vaccines. It was launched in 2000 by a group of grateful patients as an independent charity. Overlooked for many years by major funders, immunotherapy is now becoming a standard treatment for many different types of cancer.
We were asked by the charity to review its brand & marketing collateral. Their amazing research was saving lives and they needed an effective platform to communicate this. After a thorough audit, we set off around the country meeting and photographing some of their previous patients to talk about their experiences and extraordinary success stories. This invaluable insight helped create the narrative that was to be an integral part of the new brand identity, underpinning the strapline we developed for them ‘Changing Lives Through Research’. The identity was then rolled out across stationery, conference collateral, branded items and a new website.
